PressTHE VILLAGE VOICE'S NEW FOOD TRUCK TASTING EVENT ** "CHOICE STREETS" TICKETS ON SALE TODAY ** New York, NY - March 7, 2012 - The Village Voice announces today its first round of participants for its new annual food truck event "Choice Streets." The Cinnamon Snail, Coolhaus, Green Pirate Juice Truck, Kelvin Natural Slush Co., Korilla BBQ, Mexicue, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Schnitzel & Things, Souvlaki GR, The Taim Mobile, and Wafels & Dinges have all been added to the list of participating food trucks this year. Tickets for The Village Voice's "Choice Streets" are on sale at noon today, Wednesday, March 7th. Spun off from The Village Voice's highly-popular "Choice Eats" restaurant tasting event, "Choice Streets" is set to feature samples from over 20 of NYC's favorite and highly sought-after food trucks! After the overwhelming response to the "food truck welcome," featured at last year's "Choice Eats" event, The Village Voice is bringing its New York foodie fans a new, scrumptious event featuring food, entertainment and more in "Choice Streets". Each of this year's participating food trucks will be hand picked by The Village Voice. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 24th from 7:00-10:00 PM on Pier 86 of the New York Landmark - The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Complex. A rain date has been set for April 25th. "Choice Streets" ticket options include a VIP ($40) ticket and General Admission ($30) ticket. Ticket prices include complementary food tasting, beverages, and entertainment throughout the night. The VIP ticket allows guests to access a private VIP waterfront area, private VIP bar, and VIP guests are also welcome to a complimentary private tour aboard the Intrepid.
